I have an upstairs toilet from which an odor is coming...it seems to come and go...Does anyone have any suggestions as to the cause and possible repair? Thanks

Sounds like a vent pipe is partially clogged above the bathroom. Go up on the roof (carefully) and clean out any leaves, debris.
