Many years ago (when I was unaware) I extended the black pipe natural gas line, under my deck, a few feet from my basement to an outside gas grill. It now appears that was an obvious mistake since I see pipe rust at the connection to the grill tubing. I want to replace the pipe with one that is certified for outdoor use. I'm in New Jersey. The pipe will not be buried, it is rigid and supported inside and as it passes through the wall, about four feet above the ground. Is this piping sold at Home Depot or Lowes? Thanks

Recently purchased and had a washer and dryer installed. Two people came from Lowes to deliver and install the washer. One of them shoved the drain hose all the way down the drain (located in the wall, next to the hot and cold water supplies). He said that it's better this way since it would prevent the drain from overflowing and flooding the room. However, I recently read somewhere that you shouldn't shove a washer drain down the drain pipe since that can create a siphon effect and suck water back into the washer. So I pulled the drain hose back and put just about two inches of the hose into the drain. I secured the drain hose and the water supply hoses with a plastic tie that came with the washer. The washer drains normally, but it also seems that it doesn't drain completely. How should the drain hose be installed? The washer has clips on the back that hold the drain, there are multiple positions you can put the drain hose in but my old washer didn't have them. If it makes a difference the washer is a Whirlpool Duet Steam WFW9750WW.
