2nd Floor Washer Waste Line Sizing

I am moving my clothes washer & dryer to the 2nd floor. I need to know the size of the waste line that I should use. The new location is roughly 14' vertically from the main waste line that I plan on tieing into in the basement and 8' horizontally. I plan on running the vent vertically into atic where I will tie into the existing stack the exits through the roof. Since it is a new front loading washing machine and the only drain, I plan on using 2" sch 40 PVC in both directions. Will this be enough?

2in. is the minimum size for a wash machine. Don't forget that it needs a trap, stand pipe that has to be 18in mim. to 30in. long, you can't tie the machine in solid.

Washers on the second floor generally require a drip pan too drained outside (not into the drain system).
