banging pipes

banging pipes

My water pipes bang when washer or dishwasher run dont bang when anyother water runs (they bang loud to)

You have "water hammer". It is common with washing machines and sometimes with dishwashers. You can purchase little CO2 looking cartridge add ons made for water hammer. They will attach in line to your water lines at the washer and dishwasher. They capture a column of air above the valve and act as a cushion for inrushing water. Check with a good plumbing supply house.
Oh yeah, you had a dunce for a plumber if the pipes are not secured to framing. No charge for that.

It would also be wise to check the water pressure, just to confirm you are at a reasonable pressure.
