Check Valve
Alright, I need some help here before I call in a plumber who'll cost me God knows what. I have been having issues with hot water being slow to tap on one side of one floor. Typically, about 5 minutes before it's to temperature. The suspected villian is the check valve on the recurculation line. It's 3/4 cpvc line with ball valves before and after the brass check valve. My main issue: I can't get the stinking thing open to check if it's clogged. It has a small bolt (in picture) on the side that on any other valve leaks when pressurized but this one doesn't (i don't know what the purpose of that bolt is other than possably a relief.) The bolt on top is about 1 inch but won't budge on any valves. What do I do?
