Capping drain for washer in concrete floor.
I am remodeling out laundry room and moved the washer location. The old drain for the washer needs to be capped so I can tile the floor. The drain pipe is broken off flush with the concrete floor. I need advice on the best way to cap the drain. Is it neccessary to break up the floor around the drain to put a proper cap on or can I lodge something in the drain and just fill it with concrete?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
