Suds-saver: no laundry tub!
#1

I just got a used suds-saver but I don't have a laundry tub. Can anyone tell me either, how to turn off this feature so the water will only drain through one hose or where I might find some type of pvc connector that will effectively funnel 2 hoses into one so I may dump both the wash & rinse water into a 1 3/4" drain pipe?

Hi,
A suds valve is one hose in and two out...simply remove power...remove wires from the suds solenoid and tape them up...pull the hoses from the sids valve and join two together with a hose mender and two clamps...throw away the left over hose...this will by-pass the sude valve :-)
OR....buy a new garbage can...put the suds hose into the new garbage can and the drain hose in the stand pipe...this way the garbagecan, can used like a sink and you will save the suds saver feature of the washer and use it :-)
