Plumbing PVC cement smell in water

I just had all the incoming water lines and water heater replaced. There is a strong glue/adhesive smell in my water, will this harm us and when or will it go away? The plumbers were very liberal in application and the 'blue adhesive went inside pvc pipes. I want to know, thanks!!!

It will go away, and the smell of the stuff is only bad, it won't harm you, from any information I have been given by my plumber friends. Oh, welcome to the forums!!
