PVC glue dry time

How long does PVC glue need to dry on 1 1/2" PVC fittings before I can run water through them? I just installed a P-trap and am anxious to test out the sink. Oatey says 2 hour cure time for 180 psi testing, but nothing about cure time before water testing.

For non-pressure applications...almost immediately. Pro may say otherwise, but I never wait more than 5 min or so. Bout as long as it takes to put my tools and such out of the way, clean the cans, put lids back on and throw out the trash from the job.

You did prime them I hope?
