Angry Symmons Temptrol Tub/shower faucetis 135 degrees

I have a Symmons Temptrol tub/shower unit and can't get the water beyond luke warm ( 90 degree). The unit was orignally installed in 1976. The hot water temp is 135 degrees everywhere in the house. The only other item on the line coming off the main feed is the toilet...when I flush it while shower is running I get 130 degree out of shower head. The TA-10 mixing valve was not stuck, but I replaced it anyway. It did not help. I don't have any other single lever faucets in the house . When I flush the toilet to get the hot water out of shower I don't have a decrease in water pressure. Any suggestions?

The hot water pressure is higher at the faucet etc., and since shower is only warm then there could be rubbish in the hot water line. Need to remove shower valve etc. and blow rubbish out. Most residential areas don't have stops in shower so after shutting water off close curtain or door and do a short burst for a second or use two man and see if that helps.
