Move Washer to closet off bathroom?
Washer/dryer is now in garage and want to move to closet off main bathroom. Is it doable to tap off water line going to shower / bath? There's access under the house - will I have to drain into same shower drain or can do separately? Appreciate any expert tips.

It's certainly doable, but it'll require some work.
- You'll need a 2" drain for the washer and it will have to tie into at least a 2" drain. (The shower should be 2", but occasionally may be (incorrectly) 1.5")
- You'll need to install a vent for the washer. It can tie into an existing vent, but you'll have to figure it out.
- Supply (hot/cold) lines can probably pretty easily be tapped off the shower supplies.
Electrically, you'll need a dedicated 20A circuit for the washer and dryer and either 240v for the dryer or gas piping.
Pictures or additional questions will certainly help!
