How to fix leaky dishwasher connection?

So as you can see above, the connection between my hot water line and dishwasher leaks. I'm trying to figure out how to make it stop. The connection between the 90 deg elbow and the dishwasher is where the leak originates, but if I turn the elbow any more, I cannot connect the water line. The connection is already snug, there is certainly not enough play to complete another revolution of the elbow.

Ideas?

You might try a couple of extra wraps of teflon tape..if that doesn't work could you possibly turn the connection on the DW by 90 degrees? Not sure exactly what those 4 screws hold....

I'd use pipe dope instead of teflon tape. Gasoila is good but messy. Or maybe replace the elbow fitting - a lot of plumbing stuff made overseas has lousy threads.

I would undo the connection wrap it in Teflon tape once more and then put pipe dope on top. Make sure that the teflon tape is put on correctly so it does not unwind when you screw the fitting in.
