Vent Question: bar sink in basement.

hey,

We are finishing our basement and want a bar sink. The sink needs to be vented.

I get different opinions from different plumbers - but no consensus.

From what I think in right - the vent needs to tie in 18" above the first floor grade.

Someone else wanted to do a wet vent - but wanted to do it close to grade (this didn't seem correct - although it was ABOVE a toilet drain).

I live in Illinois. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

BTW - there is no "convenient" vent near it.

I don't know what code you use, but most codes require the vent to be installed 42in ABOVE THE HIGHEST FIXTURE INSTALLED on a stack vent.
