Which screw do I adjust and what direction do I turn it?
The toilet will not stop running on its own.

Wink

Well with the onset of adjustment free toilet flow systems I may be a little rusty but if memory serves me correct it will be the larger of the 2 and you will need to turn it clockwise.you may also check to see if the flapper in the bottom of the tank is making a proper seal so that water is not leaking past if all else fails a very unrecognized trick is to slightly bend the float arm downwards toward the bottom of the tank to trick the valve into thinking there is more water in the tank than there actually is.
Hopefully this will help to stop your running.

Two reasons for the toilet to continue running:
Supply valve is not seating properly there may be debris or corrosion stuck there preventing it from completely shutting off. If this has been going on for some time, the running water will actually wear a little notch in the seat which makes the water run even more. Solution: clean out the debris by disassembling or replace valve assembly-neither is difficult.
Big outlet flush assembly in the bottom of the tank is leaking due to a bad gasket or a little bit of corrosion from hard water. Solution: clean out the valve seat a/o new gasket or flapper. not difficult.
