booster just for washing car
I was wondering what sort of booster pump I could use to boost the water pressure for an outside hose? The water supply is at 60psi, but I think the plumbing is too narrow and restrictive, so I am not getting the sort of flow/pressure I want at the nozzle.

I'm not a plumber but I don't think that's the way to go. 60psi is a good amount of pressure but you don't have the volume of water due to the restricted pipes. I think you'd be better off replacing the pipe.

Hi, Not sure what you on your mind. A couple of things you could try
1 install a hose bib on the high side of your pressure regulator.
(expensive)
2 They make a nozzel that fits on the hose that increases velocity of the water. I used them and the are as good as pressure washers.
They look like the nozzel on a fire hose but smaller. Cost about 5 bucks,
