Flojet BW1000 bottled water pump

I have one of these pumps (above) and it works pretty well to deliver bottled water to the fridge.

However, it recently developed a leak in the push connector that connects to the line that leads to the fridge.

I have tried contacting flojet via email and their website, and their US phone number. The phone number no longer works, the email never got delivered and and have not heard anything back via the website.

How can I get a $3 plastic part from flojet?

Thanks!

I couldn't find anything either. Can the leak be sealed with JB Weld or something?

repairing the leak

Thanks for the reply.

I have not tried to repair the leak as yet. The plastic port that is leaking has a collet on one end and the other simply pushes into the pump housing. I have this in a mudroom that I am remodeling. If I permanently affix the hose, that would limit my ability to finish the remodel.

I am sure this plastic part is made by another company somewhere, but I can find no markings on it, and it appears to be fairly unique.

I talked with one company that told me Flojet does not sell replacement parts for the BW1000.

I guess I could disassemble the pump and put a different receptacle, like a compression fitting, on it.
