1" outdoor water supply

I would like to have a 1 inch outdoor hose connection on the side of my house. I have a 1 in supply coming in from the city water that I can tap into. My desire is to have full flow available for a 1" hose. I have the hose and a 1" ipt to 1" male hose thread adapter.
The water supply is in the basement. We get freezing temperatures. The basement foundation is concrete block consturction. Should I bore a small hole thru the block and come up thru the ground outside or bore thru the siding above the sill? What kinds of valves should I use inside and outside? Is there a quality 1" freeze proof sillcock available that I could use or should I just go with K copper pipe and 1" full flow ball valves with a drainable valve in the basement? Thanks for advising.

I think it will be hard to find a 1" hose bib. You most likley will need to make one yourself. You could find yard hydrynts in 1" though. You have to look around and the internet.
