One of my outside faucets is leaking bad enough that it can fill up a 5 gal. bucket in the time it takes me to water my flowers (10 minutes or so) and now the knob shoots off when I turn on the water. Until I can fix this I'm dragging hose from around back to the front:( I've done some plumbing but don't know if I should attempt replacing this bad boy or not. How complicated of a process is this?:help:

have cpvc pipes running to new tub. the faucet has brass tubes so need to transition. was thinking sharkbites but concerned whether they are reliable long term since they use rubber washer to seal and the chlorine in water could degrade washer over time? some options I am considering: [IMG]http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e311/hammerash/cpvcbrasstransition.jpg[/IMG] sweat the tube on the one end, tighten the coupling. then cement the cpvc in other end. [IMG]http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e311/hammerash/cpvctocopperMIPT.jpg[/IMG] have to sweat a brass FIPT on the tubes from faucet, screw together, cement wanted to hear thoughts on pro/cons of these three options.
