Can I Move /reroute toilet vent pipe?
I am wanting to recess a medicine cabinet and have found two vent pipes in the cavity I need. On the left side is a 3" toilet vent pipe that is about 1 1/2" into the cavity I need for the cabinet. Can I connect an elbow above and below where I need space for the cabinet and move the pipe over. The other pipe is 2" and is flexible enough that I can push to the back of the cavity. Is this a good idea or would you recommend something else?
Thank you!
Thank you!

The 3" is the stack. I probably would not 90 it over. Use 45's instead. But is the pipe staying in the cavity? If not then taking how much wood out to get it in the next bay may be of concern.
Push the 2" back if you can.
Medicine cabinets are rarely use today from my construction experience.
Hey anyone remember the razor blade slot in the wall????????

I grew up in military housing and there was no blade slot in the wall but I remember it in quite a few hotel bathrooms.

I once lived in a duplex in military housing. I used to talk to my neighbor through the razor blade slots in our back to back medicine cabinets.

I remember the time (and I'm sure I always will) when we lived on base in Germany and they needed to make some kind of a major plumbing change - they took out the shared wall in the kitchens all the way up all four floors and punched a big hole in the shared bathroom walls.
