Question

Has anybody ever used the relatively new Ridgid Kollman K-40G drain snake? This is the one that has the long guide hose on the end of it that you can set on the floor. I'm interested in the pros and cons versus either an electric drain gun or a larger snake like the K-375. Thanks.

I'd be using it mainly for snaking out kitchen and bathroom sinks as well as bathtubs. Once in a blue moon I might try it on a slightly larger drain pipe although I guess it's only recommended up to 2" lines.

Have not used Ridgid Machines.

For Tub lines I like to use a 1/4" cable machine, like this one form gorlitz and for 1-1/2" to 2" lines I like to use the 3/8" cable machine.
