Leaking pipe outside, suggestion for repair methods?

I have a pipe outside my house that has a small leak. I attached a YouTube video and some pictures of it.

I assume this is PVC feeding an irrigation system. It looks like you'll have to cut the PVC and either try re-taping and tightening the threaded fitting or get a new one. Then use a union fitting to join the pipe back together. With things in a straight line it's going to be difficult the pipe length correct to get everything back together so just expect that you might have to cut the pipe a couple times until you get it exactly correct.

Hi, They make a PVC compression fitting for that type of repair. It will allow enough space so you can cut the pipe then cut off the fitting install a new fitting then put it back together.From your picture I would cut the pipe about 3 or 4 inches off the ground so I have the longer piece to work with.
