Will 1/4 inch plastic tubing melt behind a dishwasher?

I ran a 1/4 inch plastic water line from my sink to my fridge. I routed it behind the dishwasher. I was wondering if the back of a dishwasher gets hot enough to melt the tubing?

Thanks, Travis

Welcome to the forums! No, the exterior of the dishwasher does not get that hot. What type plastic tubing did you run? Hopefully it was the icemaker type plastic and not surgical tubing type.

Thanks for your help! It was tubing that came in a kit specifically designed for this purpose. Thanks again.
