Is this a fair price?

Just renovated a bathroom and the plumber did the following. Did I get a fair deal?
Went from on sink to two. He roughed in everything
Rouged in new shower body.
Installed new cast iron tub.
After tile. He came back. And installed everything including trim..
Total. $1000.

It's pretty hard to give a quote without seeing the work.
I'm guessing you supplied all the fixtures and he supplied all the rest and labor.
We don't know how many hours of labor was involved.
NYC or NY state makes a big difference
I'd say you got a fair deal.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I supplied the fixtures and he supplied all the materials. He was here for a good TWO days, meticulous as can be. Changed some things that he felt could be a problem in the future such as shower trap, valve supply for toilet. Also, yes NY, out on Long Island. Thanks!

The most important thing is that you're happy with the work he did. It certainly doesn't sound out of place for two days of professional quality work. Keep his number and share it with friends, good plumbers are hard to come by.
