I sent a question to your website about five or six days ago regarding regarding my toilet which does not flush completely. I received a "Welcome" e-mail from your website, with my question attached, but no answer. I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you.

Make sure the flush ring and the blow hole in the toilet are clean, it could be the fill valve creating this problem, need more detail, can you get the toilet to flush if you pour a 5 gal bucket of water in it?

toilet

I took your suggestion and flushed the toilet with a bucket of water and it flushed ok. I cleaned the flush ring and the blow hole previously, so I figured that was not my problem. You mentioned the fill valve. The tank fills up ok,but there doesn't seem to be enough swirling action to flush the toilet completely. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to clean those holes out on the flush ring real good, that is what make the toilet get that swirl action, this has to take place, or the toilet just will not flush.

Hi Bob, pour about half a gallon of muratic acid down the overflow tube inside the tank. Let it set for about 45 minutes then flush the toilet. Good Luck Woodbutcher
