Similar Issue . Low water pressure

I have a similar issue to this thread.

http://www.doityourself.com/forum/pl...low-issue.html

Using the advice in this thread, I tried to find my PRV and could not locate one in the garage, near the hot water heater, or any where. My house was built in 1989 and it is in Southern California. Any advice on where to look?

Thanks,
Ken White

Generally PRV's are located just as the water main enters the house, or buried just outside such an entrance. However, one city near us installs them just after the meter in the meter hole. Have you checked there, yet? It surprised me on a job I was working and located a bad PRV at a house, the city came by and told me I could eliminate the one at the house as theirs was in line and they maintained it . Cool.
