Question

I have a single handle contolled Delta faucet and spout in my bathroom. The issue is that the spout seems to have seperated from the tile. The grout no longer seals where they join. Should I just recaulk or should I remove the spout, or? I have never worked on a bathtub spout before so please treat me like a dummy!

How much of a gap it there between the wall and the back side of the spout?

If a fraction then just recaulk it.

Does your spout look like this

If so, there should be a set screw on the bottom side of the spout, you should loosen it and push the spout back against the tile, then retighten, and caulk. (Note: the set screw may require an Allen wrench)

Cool

THANKS, GUYS!
I will definitely be in touch. Too busy to do anything today.
A picture is worth a 1,000 words, and I'm "wordy" enough. LOL.
