Help with utility sink

I have installed a utility sink in the garage. I tied into the hot water line and connected to the faucet that came with the sink. Hot water is flowing fine in the rest of the house, but I've got nothing at this sink. I did not hook up cold water, would that make a difference? Any help is appreciated

No it should not make a difference,

Possibly you have a valve off. You should get hot water...

Also note when you turn the hot water on it will come out the cold side of the faucet thats not hooked up.

You will need to plug that some how....

I'd also check for trash in the supply valve.

Suggestion: Replace the supply valve you used with a dual port valve and connect supply lines to both sides of the faucet. That way you don't have to plug the cold side. Or just use a cap but IIRC sometimes the caps are hard to get to seal.

Is this a two handle faucet or a one handle mixing faucet? In some mixing faucets, you do not get the hot unless you have the cold.
