urgent plumbing problem

I installed french drain on both sides of my house. I noticed water was rushing out on drain exit on one side. It has since died down a bit.

No rain in DAllas, TX area lately.

I also have sprinkler installed.I thought the water supply pipe enters the house from front and then spread over bathroom, kitchen etc.

no signs of leak anywhere in the house or around foundation.

Other than sprinkler, what else can cause leak on side of the house outside?
thanks

If you are on city water you can turn the water off at the meter and see if the flow from your French drain stops. Unfortunately piping on the house side of the meter is the homeowner's responsibility.

When does this leak occur. You said it subsided. Does it only happen when you have the sprinkler system on? Is it near a frost proof faucet?
