Water under laminate flooring after sink backed up

Hi guys.. I am hoping someone here can help me before my husband cuts through the back of the house into our kitchen to find a leak.

Last night we noticed our floating laminate floor was squishy and one of the laminate pieces had buckled up and had water coming from it. It's about a 4 x 4 section of the floor that's squishy.
About an hour or so before that our sink clogged up so bad that we had to leave it (because it was so late) and was going figure it out in the morning. We plunged it and plunged it, but could not figure out why it was clogged.
When you look under the sink there is no water. I even pulled up the bottom of the cupboard under the sink this morning and I see no water.

Can anyone tell me where this leak might be coming from?

Thanks in advance

are you on a slab? Basement , crawl?

Could be a leak in the drain pipe if slab... Any appliances around?

Could be a water line leak also...

Let us know....

I completely forgot to say that the water was also leaking out into the back yard right next to the kitchen sink window. Sorry..

Well, he cut out a piece from outside and it does look like our drain pipe. I don't see any water coming out of the drain pipe, but it's completely wet in there. It almost looks moldy, but my husband is saying it's not mold. I will try and upload a pic.
