Bowl fills fine after flush. Tank does not run. Bowl empties of water after 15-20 minutes after flush.

Any ideas?

Is the toilet properly vented?
Is the vent plugged up?
Is there any others drains causing you problems?

No other drain problems.

Sorry, I don't know what you mean by properly vented. Had a "handyman" come out and he couldn't find the problem.

The vent that comes out the roof top, is there one above the bathroom? If there is check to make sure it's not plugged up, run a hose down it.

If the vent is fine, then pull the toilet, take it outside, set it up on blocks, fill it with water, if it still leaks out, install a new toilet.
