clogged toilet

my toilet is clogged it seems to only happens when my husband does the "#2";usually plunger works, well, this time it didn't! what do I do besides calling the plumber, we couldn't afford one at this time?

Cool

If a good plunger job won't open it up, get a plumber's toilet auger, and have hubby feed the end up into the trap of the toilet, crank it up, and break the paper, etc. loose.
Look back through the postings of the last couple of days to see what a toilet auger looks like by Plumber 2000, if you don't know.
Far less expensive to buy one, than calling a plumber. You must have one of those lousy Federal government mandated "low-flow" toilets.

Yeah, might be!! But I found out from another forum that Old Guy IS trainable. <gggggggg>
