valve is missing handle and in want to install a RO system

so i just looked at my cold water valve in my kitchen and it doesnt have a handle.
When i shut off the cold water it starts to leak from where the circular handle would screw in, and the further i twist the more water shoots out.
is there something i can buy to clog the hole? or anything i can do?
RO is reverse osmosis

You can tighten the packing nut to stop the leaking. The valve will be harder to turn maybe..You usually could buy a similar valve and use the handle from that one...Unless you chewed up the splines on the existing valve....
