clogged toilet

The toilet has been clogged for the last 7 hours. I have plunged the hell out of it. It finally drains (slowly) taking 3 or so hours. Should I keep plunging or give up and call a pro? If I allow water back in it still stands for several hours. I appreciate any help.

It would help if we knew what went down the toilet before it plugged. You might want to try a toilet auger

available from Home Depot.

sticky fuacet and shower control

Hi Im going Sunday to moms house and she tells me the on/ off shower pull valve is stuck. Also the kitchen faucet arm that swings is stuck . Could hard water be the culprit? Can WD 40 be used or No good? The kitchen sink faucet was replaced 2 years ago, same problem! Thanks Rich C

Adding shower to Jacuzzi tub

I have a Jacuzzi tub in my downstairs bathroom. I'd like to add a shower to that tub, but for some reason I'm under the impression that there is a problem doing this. Can you tell me if it is possible to do this? If not, why not? If so, are there any "gotchas" I should know about?
