Trying to identify and replace shower's faucet stem

Hello,

Was hoping someone out there could at least point me to the correct brand of faucet stem I'm working with. The plumber i called and who quoted me about $350 to rip the old ones out and install with a standard had never seen the fixtures, True Value had nothing simliar, Menards either. Attaching a couple pictures below, should have placed the tape measure next to it. Will do that if needed.

Why not just replace the whole faucet, that's an old style.
Identify faucet stems using illustrations faucet stem definitions

I don't want to rip out drywall if I don't have to.
And yeah, I found that website also.

There should have been an access panel to get to that valve in the first place.
