OK to bend soft copper with an electrical conduit bender?

Just wondering, and maybe someone has heard of people trying to do this. The hardware store sells a nice 3/4" electrical pipe bender. I was wondering if it is ok to use this to bend soft copper. I'm just trying to get a nice gradual 90 degree bend without kinks.

Bending it over any round object would work. Conduit bender would be my first choice but I am quite familiar with that tool.

I'm going to use Type L soft copper. Should I use a different type?

Is it ok to just bend the soft copper (Type L soft copper) by hand without using a bender? Because of space constraints under the house, I cannot bend the copper with a conduit bender.

Also, I've heard of people using sand, rope, and other material inside of the copper tube to prevent it from kinking when they bend hard copper. Is this necessary when bending soft copper?

Is it on a roll????? If so bend it by hand... If you need a sharper bend you need to use a bender...

If issues with space pre bend then install...

Unscrew the handle from the conduit bender and use just the head.
