Problem with garden faucet - silcock

I replaced my broken garden faucet aka silcok valve with this one. Mueller Global 1/2 in. x 4 in. Frost-Free Sillcock with Anti-Siphon-104-571HC at The Home Depot.

It worked for 1-2 days and then no water coming out. Returned it and bought a new one, worked again for 1-2 days and then now no water. Is it something wrong with it or the way i am installing? Just unscrewed the old one and put a new one screwed in. Thats all i did.

Or is this one more Chinese made junk?

The washer usually sticks on the new units... Remove the stem and lube the spring loaded washer pin with plumbers grease....

Could it be that debris is getting in the way from making the change over?

There was no debris. It was clean.

I will try to lube it. I remember it had a spring action at that end when i bought it. Now it is not there.
