Quick question for Water/Ice maker line installation
Hi there,
I purchased a fridge with a ice maker and water dispenser and now need to attach it to the cold water line under my sink.
I do not feel comfortable using a saddle valve and I want to install something more reliable.
I already have a line for the dish washer and will need to install another one that connects to the refridgerator.
What supplies could I use to make this happen? I have a list of what I THINK I need... suggestions appreciated.
I believe I can use a Tee valve to connect to sink, and then connect for the dishwasher AND the ice maker line?
I also wanted to install a shut off valve to the refrigerator.
Also do I need to solder?

Shut off Valve http://www.amazon.com/Dramm-12353-He...shut+off+valve
5 Feet Ice Maker Connector http://www.amazon.com/LDR-509-5175-2...aker+connector
Teflon pipe tape
Thanks

No on the saddle valve...not even allowed in some areas as I understand. I've used these a few times...Quick tee adapters for ice makers, dishwashers, water filters and various other water supply lines
Just install on the cutoff valve under the sink, then run your line. How far do you have to go? Might be better to just run a new line and put a box with cutoff valve behind the fridge.

The Amazon links aren't working...I replied to the original post. Doubt you'll even need tape as those are prob compression fittings.

3/8 x 3/8 x 1/4 tee.
Insert this between cold water sink valve and sink supply....
Then connect ice maker line to side port...
