Identify basement rough in

I am trying to help my parents finish up their basement. I have no idea how to create a new post so I am using this one. The rough in (see attached picture) contains a black pipe and a white pipe protruding couple inches from the floor. Can you tell me which is which. I was assuming the black one is for toilet drain and the white one is for the shower drain. Thank you so much in advance for you help.

Hello and welcome.....

One may be a floor drain and one may be the toilet...

But from looking at your pic I would say the white one is the toilet and the pipe be hid it is the sink/vent...

What size pipe is the black one?

Often only a powder room is piped in a basement..

I moved your post to it's own thread. To start a new thread, go to the main page, then go to the forum (subject) you want to start one in, and at the top (and bottom) left, you'll see "Start New Thread" in a yellow box.
