Possible frozen pipe from newbie

Here in NC, it was 72 degrees yesterday and I had used my hose to wash down my patio. I forgot to unhook the hose from the faucet. Today, the temperature dropped from 60 to 25 degrees. As soon as I got home, I disconnected the hose from the faucet. There is some ice on the end of the faucet where the hose was previously. Do you all think it the pipe is froze or do you think I'm okay since it was only for a couple of hours? Thanks.

Welcome to the forums.

It would be best to shut off the water line to that faucet if it has its own shutoff.
Is that a frost free type faucet ?

If it was going to burst, it would've. So its probably OK. But in the future do as PJ says.

Make sure you check for leaks now that it is warming back up. If something burst it may not start leaking until the ice plug thaws.
