Re-use old faucet

I am currently having a new counter top installed in my kitchen. My current faucet is a 2 handle delta that I purchased less than a year ago. I was wondering if there is any way I can reuse it (and the sink) after I remove it to install the new counter top? Ive been told that once you remove a faucet, its best to throw it away...

Absolute nonsense. If it's a good faucet and working fine it can be removed and reinstalled.

There's no reason to not reuse a quality faucet. You'll need to re-silicone the faucet unless it has its own gasket.

Vote # 3 to re-use it if you want.
