Yes.....polybutylene Class Action Law Suit and Re: Polybutylene Pipes - replace just the fittings?

But it's not the piping that is the issue, it's the fittings. Plastic fittings=bad, copper rings= prob ok. Easier to link a few sites than to type it all out.

Looking at your pics though, I don't remember PB as being striped for hot and cold.

Not a plumbing Pro...more answers will follow.
