Shower knob replacement

I have to replace a shower knob because any screw I use on the bottom doesn't hold shower knob in place. Will the Danco 80023 universal knob be good for this project? Thanks. Here are some pics:

you need a new handle...

Whats the make of the faucet?

I guess as long as you find a similar splines handle it may work...

I'm not sure. No brand written anywhere on the handle or outside of the cover plate.

I see some of these handles comes with adapters. Can I just put the adapter over the stem and put the handle on?

Danco 80032 was too small. I bought the Moen 100657. My problem is the adapter is not gripping the end of the stem so it can turn it. Is there something, like an adapter, I can put over the the stem so it matches the inside of the adapter that came with the Moen?

Is there a universal handle that uses the set screw on the bottom of the handle?
