Leak in Masonry Wall or Slab

We have a small leak at our church which we think is in a masonry wall but could be in the underneath slab. Water is seeping out onto the floor along the bottom of the wall.

Are there any DIY epoxy coating products to coat the interior of a galvanized pipe?

I doubt there is any coating that would work well and not sure I'd trust any coating when it comes to potable water. You really need to determine the source of the leak and then address it. I'd think if the water was turned off for a few days that would help you determine if it's a water pipe or foundation/slab issue.

Since you mention a galvanized pipe I assume that it's a water pipe that is leaking. There are no simply DIY goo's for galvanized pipes. When they start leaking it's because the pipe is rusting from the inside out. By the time a leak forms the inside of the pipe is often clogged down considerably by rust bulidup. If possible I would consider re-piping the building to get rid of all the galvanized piping. You can patch the leak for now but I would expect other leaks to occur in the future as the pipe continues to rust.

At the minimum I would replace sections of pipe as they leak so eventually you will end up replacing the piping section by section. If you just install patches you'll still end up having to replace the pipe so you'll have the double work of installing the patch now and replacing the pipe later.

You have established 100% that this is a pipe leak and not a leak through the opening where the pipe enters the structure?

Yes. I assume you are thinking ground water entering through the opening?

Pipe

Problem solved. Copper pipe came up through the slab floor into a cinder block wall. The pipe was terminated about 4 ft. above the floor with a cap. The cap had developed a pin hole. The leaked water traveled in the wall around a corner and came out into a hallway about 12 ft. from the leak. Professional plumbers found the leak and replaced the cap. Made only two small holes in the wall. I originally said galvanized pipe. I was wrong. It was copper.
