disconnect Kohler sink hand sprayer and now water pressure is weak.

I have a Kohler Fairfax faucet with a hand sprayer I removed the hose and sprayer and capped it off. The water pressure is not as strong as it was. What did I do wrong? Thanks

Did you clean out the strainer in the faucet? Often after messing with plumbing, we jar junk loose in the pipes and it lodges in the strainer. Let us know about that.

The filter/screen was a bit dirty. The pressure improve only a little but still noticeable weaker than it was originally.

Did you turn off the water at the shutoff before you did any work? If so, it is possible that you did not turn it back on completely or it has become blocked and is not allowing full flow of water to the sink. Something else to consider is if you see the same problem for cold and hot since each has its own supply line. If you do see the problem regardless of the temp (hot or cold water supply), then the problem is likely in the faucet. If it is a single handle faucet, you may want to look at removing the cartridge to look for any crud stuck in it.

Thank you all,
I'll check the cartridge. My wife isn't complaining so it might be a while before I mess with it. Thanks again.
