Wrong style PVC vent elbow... problem?

My building inspector just did a quick walk through my house and made a comment on some of the PVC fittings I used in my bathroom plumbing vent system.

Instead of using a 2" PVC "vent elbow," in three locations I used one of these fittings that I had left over from a sprinkler pump job. My thought was that the fitting I used would be ok since it's schedule-40 and if anything would be overkill since it's rated for more pressure and also uses 1 1/2" of pipe engagement into the fitting versus the standard 3/4" engagement on a standard 2" vent elbow. I realize this may not be the "correct" vent fitting, but won't it function just fine in a vent application and is the inspector just nit picking? Ultimately, the final decision lies with my plumbing inspector that is scheduled to come to the house later today, but I just wanted some opinions. It's not that big of a deal to replace them, but it will involve PVC repair couplings and/or Fernco couplings since all the plumbing is now fixed in place on all ends.

Thanks!
