Question Shower Drain Leak

I have a leak under the upper flange of my drain (between the flange and the fiberglass pan). This is the type drain with a caulking gasket. The shower is on a concrete slab, so there is no access from below. How do I remove the existing drain, and what type is best for replacement?
Thanks,

Got a picture of the drain?
Some can be unscrewed from the top side.

Here is a picture. I don't see an obvious way to unscrew from the top.Name: ShowerDrain03_23_2016-2B .jpg
