Gurgling Tub

MY tub started to gurgle when flushing upstairs toilet, tub sits next to toilet on same line. The tub is used everyday. 1st I dug up septic clean out where pipe meets tank, flushed toilets and everything drained fine. Second, I got on the roof and looked down the vent with flashlight, looked like I could see all the way down. Third, plunged toilet and tub, gurgling went away but now has returned. I plunge the toilet and tub and it goes away but eventually comes back again. Any other advice?

It sounds like you have a clog or partial obstruction somewhere. It's not enough right now to cause a backup but is enough to restrict the flow forcing air through the trap of the downstairs tub. A plunger is only good for the trap immediately under a toilet or tub. You'll probably need to have the drain lines in the house snaked with a auger to remove the obstruction.

I agree that is likely the issue.

3rd agreement on an obstruction, only I want to add it might be a severe obstruction.

If snaking doesn't work you might need to get a cutter into the main sewer line.
Another worse case is the main sewer line has a belly in it due to the pipe cracking.
