Your bathroom sink should be vented into the main drain/waste/vent stack.
If the vent is partially blocked, it will cause the water in the sink trap to be siphoned out, allowing the sewer gas back into the bathroom.
Go up on the roof over that bathroom, and look for the vent pipe and check it for a birdnest, leaves, etc., and clean it out and flush it with a water hose sprayer.
Should solve the problem.
Good Luck!
