Copper fitting stop

Is it ok if I sweat copper pipe into an elbow but the pipe couldn't reach the stop in the elbow?

Basically, I build a copper cold water manifold and was unable to get the copper elbow all the way inserted into a copper stub out. It is probably inserted about 1/2" - 5/8 but I dont think it reached the stop.

Will I have leaks? If i dont have leaks when I turn the water main on, is it possible to get leaks in the future?

I would feel uncomfortable maybe, depending on the quality of the joint.

If the joint is nice and shiny with no holes and the solder flowed easily, you should be OK.
If there's even a sign of a cold solder joint I would redo it.
