Adding another gas line in laundry room

I made this diagram hoping that i am compliant with arizona for a permit to do my gas pipe. basically i created another T on my water heater line. will be outside the wall and the ceiling going to my dryer which is about 15ft away. i am only a home owner and not know if i need a license to work on this . is my plan correct? do i need a license?Name:  gas 1.jpg

In general it looks good. You need a valve before the water heater too.

But to be sure your 1/2" pipe can support the BTUs required, you need to map out all the gas appliances from the meter to this point. How long is that 1/2" feed to the water heater?
